Getting Up Close with Mental Health
We are committing to creating a safe place for young people to open up about their mental health concerns.
Mental health challenges are sadly on the rise. The number of young people who say they do not believe life is worth living has doubled in the last decade, amid a sense of overwhelming pressure from social media which is driving up feelings of inadequacy.
Mental health is a very personal topic for The Youth Group and we are committed to creating a safe place for young people who may be getting ready to join work or who are already in the workplace, to open up about their mental health concerns.
The Shocking Numbers
A look at the latest mental health survey we commissioned to see the state of young people’s mental health since the global pandemic has affected all our lives.
We know young people feel afraid to share and look to hide away, embarrassed by what it says about them.
If we want to improve the odds for young people, we must both remove the stigma around mental health and encourage the right conversations through sharing, as well as individual and group therapy.
How does it work
Proactive support for youth
Breaking the youth solo, bringing together a range of tools, services and outcomes to help young people with wellbeing.
The right support at the right time
We are supporting you to really understand their mental health before employment. in the office, out in the field, or at home.
